800 – OTP1 – The Communicator

Recommended for all employees at the management level and above.

Course Overview:

This course is an overview of the technology equipment in the restaurants and other services that the Technology Department maintains. You will become familiar with the proper names for the equipment, what each piece of equipment does and how everything works together to take care of our guests and our employees. You will learn some simple troubleshooting steps for common problems and how to communicate about issues and equipment that need service or repair.

Prerequisite:

1. Go to otp.mcd.com and sign in
2. Click the “Training” tile
3. Click the “Register for Training” tile
4. Find the “OTP1 Certification (2018) Self-Paced” option
5. To the far right, under Actions, click on the “Register” icon
6. At the bottom of the page are the Course Modules to complete (wait until after class to take the certification test at the end)

After attending this class and passing the certification test, you will be a Certified OTP1.
